Privacy & data use

Information you provide

• Resume and job description text: processed in your browser to calculate your score and suggestions.
• Job search details: when you use “Jobs that match your resume,” we send the role title, a short list of skills and the location (if any) to our server, which asks our job-listings partner, Adzuna, for matching postings. Your full resume is not sent.
• Payment details: entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page, not on our site. We receive the purchase amount and status, plus a random ID linked to your browser so we can help with any credit issues.
• Support messages: if you email us, we keep the message so we can respond.

Information stored on your device

We use your browser’s local storage to remember your daily free scan, your purchased credits and a random purchase ID. This information stays on your device. If you clear your browser data, it’s removed, including any unused credits, so please contact us if that happens after a purchase.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data such as browser type, approximate region and pages viewed, used for performance and to prevent abuse.
• Analytics and advertising cookies from Google (Google Analytics and Google AdSense) to measure traffic and, where shown, to display ads. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

How we use data

• To score your resume and show suggestions (on your device).
• To find job listings that match your role and skills.
• To process payments, add credits and prevent fraud.
• To fix problems, improve features and keep Rezzy Rate secure.

We don’t use your resume to train AI models or build unrelated products.

Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep things

• Resume text: not stored by us. It stays in your browser.
• Payment records: kept as required for accounting, tax and fraud prevention.
• Job search requests: cached briefly (about 15 minutes) to keep results fast, then discarded.
• Analytics: kept in aggregate to understand usage trends.

Your choices & rights

• You can use Rezzy Rate without creating an account.
• You can clear locally stored data at any time from your browser settings.
• You can ask us to delete data we control, unless we’re required to keep it for legal or security reasons.
